Wolves Wellness School Based Health Center

HealthSource of Ohio is excited to announce a new partnership with West Clermont Local Schools to launch a School Based Health Center at West Clermont Middle School.

The Wolves Wellness School Based Health Center will be available to students and staff across the district, as well as the community.  It will provide medical, vision, and behavioral health services during the school day.  The Wolves Wellness School-Based Health Center does not take the place of your regular doctor and joining the program does not mean you are changing your child’s doctor.

The Wolves Wellness School Based Health Center is an incredible opportunity to work with students of all levels and help them remove some of the barriers to learning they may face.  From an elementary student needing a new pair of glasses; to a high school student receiving an annual wellness checkup.  HealthSource of Ohio accepts most insurance plans including Medicaid and prides itself on providing quality health care to the entire community regardless of the ability to pay.

Dena Richter, C-FNP, is the clinician who will be treating students at the new center.  Dena is a 1992 graduate of Glen Este High School.  She received her BA degree from Indiana Wesleyan University, and a Master of Science and Post Master of Nursing Degrees at the University of Cincinnati.

For students to utilize the Wolves Wellness School Based Health Center, parents will need to complete the registration paperwork that will be sent home to students and is available on our website under the Forms tab.  Please be assured that medical, vision, and behavioral health services will not be conducted without parents' knowledge and consent.

Wolves Wellness is scheduled to open on February 5, 2018.  HealthSource of Ohio currently operates a similar school based health center in the Western Brown Local School District.
